My Sephora Favorites

Updated: Nov 7, 2020

I love a good trip to Sephora and an online haul. I think it's so fun to find products that help me look and feel my best! I have tried A LOT of products over the years, and the items on this list are ones that I keep coming back to and rate other products against.

I used to think more is more when it came to products, but now I am only interested in what is BEST. While there are other products I have tried and liked from Sephora, these products have made my best list!

This blog contains affiliate links. If you decide to try any of these products, it would mean the world to me if you shop them through my links by clicking the photos below! This helps me bring you future content!

Skincare

Disclaimer: These are my top 10 skincare items from Sephora. Although I'm sure there are a lot of other cult favorite skincare items available at Sephora, I have not personally tried them to give you my honest opinion as a majority of the skincare I personally use is professional grade and typically only available at a medical office.

  1. Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Alpha Beta® Extra Strength Daily Peel: These two step single use pads leave my skin so smooth and soft. They reduce the appearance of pores as well as fine lines and wrinkles and eliminate any texture of the skin. I used these for my wedding skin prep and quick fell in love.

  2. Farmacy Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm: This cleansing balm is gentle enough for everyday use but strong enough to effortlessly melt away the most stubborn, long-wear, waterproof makeup. After scooping out the solid cleanser I warm it between my hands and then apply to my dry skin. As I massage this cleanser into my skin my makeup just melts away. I rise with warm water and then follow up my dual cleansing with the Youth to The People Antioxidant Cleanser listed below.

  3. Herbivore Bakuchiol Anti-Aging Serum: I love this retinol alternative serum. It has more a gel consistency than my other Herbivore serums. It is super hydrating and doesn't call any skin irritation or peeling. It will leave your skin glowing and hydrated while combating fine lines and wrinkles, uneven skin tone, dullness and uneven texture.

  4. Youth To The People Superberry Hydrate + Glow Dream Mask with Vitamin C: Wake up with soft glowing skin with this overnight mask that your skin will just drink up! Thanks to the clean, vegan, and cruelty free ingredients this is also a pregnancy safe product which is what first drew me to it.

  5. Herbivore Jade De-Puffing Face Roller: I keep this handy little tool in the refrigerator for an invigorating step in my skincare that helps with lymphatic drainage allowing my skin to look less puffy, especially mu under eye area! This also helps my other skincare products to penetrate deeper and be more effective. Check out my blog here on how to use a Jade Roller and other benefits of incorporating one into your skincare routine!

  6. Herbivore Phoenix Rosehip Anti-Aging Face Oil - For Dry Skin: Deeply hydrating, makes my skin glow and helps fight signs of aging. For max anti-aging results I mix 3 drops of this with one drop of Herbivore Bakuchiol serum.

  7. Youth To The People Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser: My daily cleanser that doesn't strip my skin of its natural moisture. Its vegan, cruelty free, clean, and pregnancy safe.

  8. Herbivore Emerald CBD + Adaptogens Deep Moisture Glow Oil: Deeply moisturizes skin and calms any irritation and redness.

  9. Fresh Kombucha Antioxidant Facial Treatment Essence:This stuff is a must have for me. Every person I walked pastie Sephora the first time I picked it up told me how good it is. Since starting to use this my skin is more even and less dull. I can't explain it but me and my skin love this facial essence.

  10. Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Sheet Mask: These sheet masks will give you a serious glow and deep hydration!

  11. The Original MakeUp Eraser The Original MakeUp Eraser® Makeup Remover Cloth: This is perfect for those nights you are way too tired to wash your face but know you still need to take off your makeup. This little gem is pure magic. Just wet it and rub it on your face and all your makeup comes off, even your mascara! I didn't know until my aesthetician told me that you are supposed to still wash your face after using traditional makeup wipes because of the residue they leave on your skin. You don't have to worry about that with the Makeup Eraser because it is just water! Perfect for those with very sensitive skin as well.

Face

  1. Hourglass Vanish Seamless Finish Foundation Stick: This has been my favorite stick foundation. It is more of a velvet finish and blends into the skin so easily with medium, buildable coverage. I love to take this with my for my foundation when I travel since there is no risk of spilling or breaking .

  2. Too Faced Born This Way Foundation: This is great for my dry skin people out there since it has hyaluronic acid (my favorite!!!) in its formula. It has medium, buildable coverage that blends into the skin perfectly rather than sitting on top of it.

  3. BECCA Cosmetics Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter: Shades Opal and Champagne pop are my favorite. These shades are also beautiful for the inner corner of the eye to open the eye up and on the brow bone to lift the appearance of the eyebrow.

  4. Tatcha The Liquid Silk Canvas Featherweight Protective Primer: I love that this another clean beauty product as well as cruelty free. It also protects skin from pollutants and makeup while helping your look go on better and last longer. This primer also gives a slight blur to the skin. I believe the liquid version is better for people with normal to oily skin as compared to the solid disk which I think works better on dry to normal skin.

  5. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette: I love that Hourglass products are high quality and always cruelty free! This pallet is made up of 3 soft focusing finishing powders that give the prettiest natural glow from within look. If I don't love how my foundation looks, I add a dusting of this across my face and it helps to make my skin look more healthy! I love that is gives a natural glow and doesn't exaggerate texture or fine lines.

  6. Hourglass Veil Translucent Setting Powder: This is by far my FAVORITE setting powder! I use this to set anywhere I blend in concealer. It is such a natural, pretty finish that doesn't make your skin appear dusty or dry. A little goes a long way and it has a blurring effect!

  7. Urban Decay All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray: This will make your makeup last ALL day. I spray my makeup after it has been completed and then use the warm setting of my blow dryer to melt all my products together into my skin rather than everything looking like it is sitting on top of my skin.

  8. Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base Priming Moisturizer: I dip my damp beauty sponge into this and apply to my under-eyes and forehead before applying my typical primer to help combat where I typically have drier skin. A little goes a LONG way so this will last you a long time, even with everyday use.

  9. Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist: I use this when my skin is especially dry. This is NOT for my oily skin people out there. I spray it over my skin after applying my makeup and bleeding it in by dabbing with my damp beauty sponge. I love how it hydrates my skin and melts all my products together while giving me a pretty glow.

  10. Hourglass Vanish Airbrush Concealer: I personally find this to be a contender for my beloved Tart Shape Tape. It gives very similar coverage and does not settle into fine lines and wrinkles throughout the day. I find this to be slightly creamier and more hydrating, so a great option if you have dry under-eyes that most concealers come off patchy. Give this a try!

  11. Tower 28 Beauty BeachPlease Tinted Lip + Cheek Balm: in Golden Hour, a sunkissed coral that is light and buildable if you want more of a punch of color! I love cream blushes because they just melt into your skin. This is a great option for those who have some texture or fine lines and wrinkles.

  12. Tatcha The Silk Canvas Protective Primer: This is my FAVORITE primer. Like the liquid version, this another clean beauty product as well as cruelty free. It also protects skin from pollutants and makeup while helping your look go on better and last longer. This primer also gives a slight blur to the skin. I believe this solid version is best for individuals with dry to normal skin. I also find this version helps with the pores around my nose!

  13. LAWLESS Summer Skin Velvet Matte Bronzer: I use this in shade Golden Hour. This is another brand that prides themselves on their clean, cruelty free ingredients! I love how natural this color is and how easy it is to build up and blend into my skin.

Eyes

I don't have too many products listed here because my go to eye shadow is the Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow Palette because it has all my go to colors (plus more!) and they blend like a dream. Like I said I am all about quality over quantity at this point and I love this palette so much I have stopped looking for others. Although this isn't sold at Sephora, you can purchase this palette here.

  1. KVD Vegan Beauty Tattoo Eyeliner: This is the only eye liner that has allowed me to (somewhat) perfect a cat eye. It doesn't;t flake off throughout the day and is a true black black! It doesn't flake if you go over it multiple times which allows you to create either a fine or more dramatic line. It won't smudge and stays put all day, but washes off easily. What else can you ask for in an eye liner?

  2. Marc Jacobs Beauty Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara: I LOVE LOVE LOVE this mascara. You can build it up for some serious volume! It is a true black. It doesn't flake throughout the day and it doesn't irritate my very sensitive eyes. Sometimes it will smudge on my lower lash line, but I have very watery eyes that are costly running so I typically wear waterproof mascara on my bottom lashes.

  3. Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz: The fine tip allows you to create natural looking hair strokes that stay put all day. I love using the spooly is great for brushing your brows after applying the color end for the ultimate natural finish.

  4. Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel: Keeps brow hairs in place all day without a white cast like some other brow gels I have tried.

  5. stila Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow: This liquid glitter is so pretty to add to your eyes for special events, holidays, or just when you want a little extra sparkle!

Lips

  1. LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask: I apply this before going to bed and wakeup with it still on my lips! This helps the most dehydrated lips and because It hydrates my lips so much I find it causes my lips to appear slightly plump.

  2. LANEIGE Lip Glowy Balm: I have multiple of these. I keep one by my nightstand, vanity, and in each of my purses that I commonly rotate. I LOVE how deeply hydrating these are without being sticky. They also have some serious staying power and keep my lips hydrated for hours! They provide a slight tint of color and are just perfect.

  3. tarte Maracuja Juicy Lip Trio: These are like a mixture between a lip gloss and a chapstick. They give a sheer tint of color that is super glossy without being heavy or sticky. They are deeply hydrating and smell great!

  4. Yves Saint Laurent Tatouage Couture Liquid Matte Lip Stain: I love the shade 7 Nu Interdit- medium nude. This stays on all day and doesn't get crusty online some other matte lip products. I can also use this multiple days in a row without my lips gutted dried out.

  5. Tower 28 Beauty BeachPlease Tinted Lip + Cheek Balm: I use shade golden hour. This is also the cream blush I use. I will sometimes add this to my lips with my finger.

  6. PAT McGRATH LABS MatteTrance Lipstick: Pat McGrath makes some of my FAVORITE lipsticks. Besides her packaging being actual works of art the formula glides on and gives full coverage in one swipe. Its incredibly comfortable to wear and lasts for a decent amount of time before you need to reapply. Some of my favorite shades are Realness, a light rose nude and Flesh 3, a dusty rose color with brown undertones.

Body

  1. Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream: This stuff smells like a vacation! It absorbs quickly without being sticky while deeply hydrating and firming the skin.

  2. TAN-LUXE THE BODY or FACE Illuminating Self-Tan Drops: I mix a drop or two into moisturizer and apply to my skin. It doesn't have that fake tan smell, doesn't;t transfer, and looks so natural.

  3. L'Occitane Cleansing And Softening Shower Oil With Almond Oil: I love the light scent of almond and how this bath oil suds up and develops such a luxurious lather. I also sometimes use this as a shave oil to prevent razor burn because it makes your razor just glide over your skin. It is super moisturizing but washes off clean and doesn't leave a film or residue on your skin.

  4. First Aid Beauty KP Bump Eraser Body Scrub with 10% AHA: This is the BEST body exfoliation I have ever used! It helps with those little bumps that you may get on your elbows or knees as well as helps prevent in-grown hairs. The dryer your skin is the more abrasive of an exfoliation you will get. I use this on my bikini area and legs prior to shaving as well as on my knees and elbows. For the first time EVER I have baby soft elbows!!

Hair

  1. Slip Silk Pillowcase: I could also list this silk pillowcase under skincare because not only does a silk pillowcase protect your hair from frizz and breakage, but it also helps to prevent wrinkles and avoids absorbing any of your skincare products unlike traditional cotton pillow cases.

  2. T3 Whirl Trio Interchangeable Styling Wand Set: Tapered, 1”, 1.5”: I love the interchangeable size wands for multiple styles. The ceramic barrels helps to fight frizz and keep your curls locked in all day long.

  3. Olaplex No. 3 Hair Perfector: This is a treatment that I typically use once a week. I hope in the shower and get my hair wet, wring out as much water as possible and using a wet brush, evenly distribute a dime size amount throughout my hair focusing from the nape of my neck to the ends first. This helps strengthen hair, reduce frizz, and enhance shine. After allowing it to sit 10-15 mins (while I exfoliate and shave my body) I follow it up with Olaplex No. 4 and No. 5.

  4. Olaplex No. 4 Bond Maintenance™ Shampoo: Deeply hydrating shampoo that repairs damage, reduces frizz, and enhances shine without weighing hair down. A little goes a long way so less is more when it comes to this shampoo! This shampoo will bring back to life the most dead and damaged hair!

  5. Olaplex No. 5 Bond Maintenance™ Conditioner: A highly-moisturizing, reparative conditioner that protects and repairs damaged hair, split ends, and frizz by re-linking broken bonds.

  6. OUAI Heat Protection Spray: This stuff is great! I spray it in dry hair before using a curling wand. It is like a hairspray and heat protector in one. This helps my curls to last for days and I love that it helps protect my hair against heat damage!

  7. dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer: I LOVE this blow dryer! Its very quiet compared to the MANY MANY other hair dryers I have tried in the past. It also dries my hair much quicker, helps reduce frizz which my wavy hair is prone to. I have also noticed my hair feeling much healthier and less dead ends since I started using this dryer almost 2 years ago!

  8. T3 Dry Vent Brush: I use this vent brush to pe-dry my hair before I use a round brush to style it. It helps my hair dry quicker and when I flip my hair upside-down it helps give me massive volume!

  9. IGK First Class Charcoal Detox Dry Shampoo: This is by far my FAVORITE dry shampoo, and I have tried A LOT. I love the volume it gives me and how easily it blends into my dark roots. This makes my 2nd and 3rd day hair look even better than my day one hair! Whenever I use this shampoo I get compliments on my hair!
